Morgan Winsor is an American-British journalist based in London who focuses on international news, particularly Africa. She is currently on deadline for ABC News.

As a reporter, writer and producer, Morgan's stories have covered a range of topics including but not limited to: the impact of COVID-19 in Africa; the conflict in Ethiopia's Tigray region; the Boko Haram insurgency in Nigeria; the impact of George Floyd's death in Africa; Ebola outbreaks in the Democratic Republic of the Congo; the legal lion bone trade in South Africa and its effects on conservation; the plight of Vietnamese migrants being smuggled or trafficked to the United Kingdom; women on the front lines of Pakistan's fight for zero polio cases; the efforts to save animals caught in the crossfires of the war on ISIS; the life-changing impact of cleft lip and palate surgery in rural Ghana; the effects of climate change on pastoralists in Ethiopia; and sexual violence in war-torn Congo.
Morgan graduated from the University of Delaware in 2012 with a Bachelor of Arts in Ancient Greek & Roman Studies and a Journalism Minor. She was the features editor and a staff reporter for The Review, an independent student-run weekly newspaper in Newark, Delaware. There, she co-authored the longest article in the paper’s history — an investigative story on gender discrimination in the University of Delaware’s College of Engineering. After graduating, she spent the summer archaeological digging in a tiny fishing village in rural eastern Romania.
Morgan then pursued a career in journalism, starting as a news assistant for CNN where she worked on the assignment desk in New York for nearly two years before taking a job as a reporter for International Business Times, where she eventually adopted the Africa beat. Morgan later joined ABC News' digital team and ultimately relocated to the company's London bureau for her current role as a multimedia reporter.
